When she talked about the accident, he felt even more guilty. In fact, it wasn't that he should hate her, but that she should hate him.
It was his fault that his actions caused her to not commit suicide.
Yet, he punished her instead. It was him who was not a human being. It was him who deserved to be cut into pieces.
If he told her the whole story, she might think too much about it. Perhaps the relationship between the two of them that had just gotten better would become worse again.
He didn't want to take the risk. He just wanted things to never be revealed. He wanted her to never know what had happened.
"No, you didn't hurt me. I thought you approached me with a goal. I hated liars, so I hated you." He avoided the heavy burden and said lightly.
Clearly, this was not a reason to convince her. She frowned and was about to ask another question when there was a knock on the door.
"Bang, bang, bang, bang." The knock was very urgent.
