Haggard

Dou Shengming's face turned haggard once again. He clenched his fists and let go.

"Am I that annoying to you?"

"Since you know, why did you ask? You're asking for trouble."

Tang Ke'er didn't even look at him as she quickly walked past Dou Shengming with her bag in her hand.

Only Tang Ke'er herself knew clearly that her heart had been shaken. She was afraid that she would see Dou Shengming's pale face and be soft-hearted.

"Ke Er."

Dou Shengming's powerful arm wrapped around Tang Ke'er's waist.

"I missed you so much. For the past four years, I have missed you every single time. It was my fault."

"I'm sorry."

"You …" Tang Ke'er was about to say something, but the arm around her waist had already loosened, causing her to forcefully stop her words.

Lili didn't say anything as she watched Dou Shengming get in the car and drive away.
