CHAPTER 07 LAN'S MOM IS CRYING

Kim lan's mind was in daze that she did not know when they reached home .

After coming out of the car she said good bye to driver and went inside.

Ring.....ring....ring.....

Right then her phone rings, checking caller's ID, it was her friend Kelly who was calling her,

" hey my sweet pie , how are you ? what with this sudden call " Kim lan asked her friend when she was on stairs going to her room.

" hey!!! you what kind of question is that? what do you mean sudden call?". The voice on another side of telephone asked.

"How are you mom?". Kim lan greets her mother when she passed her .

" am good sweetheart, how are you doing with preparation?, did you go to check your gown ?". Her mother asked her.

" it's going well mom ,don't worry , about gown I will go tomorrow with Zhao feng, OK mom let me first talk to Kelly, she's on the phone". Kim lan explained to her mother.

" OK send my greetings to her" Mrs Nam Hyera told her daughter and she went downstairs.

" Kelly are you still there ? sorry I was talking to mom " said Kim lan after returning to phone call.

" it's OK , how is your mom ? and how are you with all you preparation sweet ? And why didn't you answer the last question dear? Are you still not .." Kelly didn't get chance to finish her list of questions.

" hey ask one by one question, mom is good, preparation are going well too and when are coming back I need you here , you know eve Nana is not around at the moment, what kind of friends are you to leave me all at once when I need you, I hate you and Nana" Kim lan narrated.

"Hey! Hey don't say like that , you know we love you more it just unavoidable circumstances we will be there as soon as possible, but you didn't answer the question" said Kelly .

" which question dear? " Kim lan asked.

"The last question of interview , do you love him or you are still in love with your hero?" Kelly asked her again about loving him.

There was total silence on Kim lan's side for a moment , she couldn't understand why all of sudden when this question comes the only thing she think about is the young boy who saved her .

" hello dear are you there ?" Kelly asked when she didn't hear lan anymore .

"Yeah!! Sorry, I was just....." Kim lan was cut off by Kelly .

" lan its not like I am pressuring you, it jus that I wanted to know what you think about it, dear I don't know what is right to tell now but all I want is you to be happy , have you ever asked him Zhao feng about it? " Kelly said to her .

" I never did, how can I ask him that ? Where do I start ?" Kim lan said .

" its OK dear , but I thought that if you know that he's marrying you not because of arrangement but also he loves you , it may help you to forget your first love dear and you can love him back , did he never told you that he love you even once?" Kelly asked her.

" he never did , you know how we are , even most of our meeting are scheduled, we don't get that much time to talk about that". Kim lan said .

" but dear this is marriage we talking about , someone you will spend the rest of you life with , even if it's arranged marriage but still you have to take it serious ,

Talk to him where you need to it is in you rights as his fiancée to know what he think about it, don't act as if your prisoner that have to follow guards orders " Kelly advised her friend when she thought that her friend might be doing it just for the respect of her parents.

Jung Kelly being friends with Kim lan for long time she knows her well that Kim lan is kind of person who will do anything to please her parents and her two friends without caring about her own happiness.

Kelly recalls ten years ago when her friend was kidnapped and kept for two days .

Ten years ago.

Kelly was at home with her mother and she's been sick for three days but to day she's feeling like she can go to school, because she misses her two friends she have never seen for that three days but her mother insists that she's not yet healed completely.

" Mom pleas?, I miss lan and Nana , I feel OK mom , please let me go to school " young girl Kelly pleaded to her mother.

" OK dear, but let me first call your dad and ask him if it's OK and if he agree I will take you but if he does not there's no more complaining you will wait till next week OK ?" Kelly's mother told her.

" yes mom , I know dad won't deny me, let me get ready as you call him " said young Kelly in so much excitement about meeting her friends again .

Mrs Jung tried calling her husband three times but his phone was unreachable it goes trait to voicemail, she thought that this was unusual thing but she didn't give it much thought as she called her daughter to hurry up and she drove her to school .

Ring....ring....ring...

When they were about to reach school premises her phone rang, she answered it by car's Bluetooth so that she could talk while still driving,

But right then she suddenly stopped the car when she heard the voice on another side of telephone talking like someone who is crying.

"Mom what's wrong why did you stopped suddenly I almost hut my head " young Kelly who didn't pay attention to phone call to know who was on another side of telephone asked.

" dear it's Lan's mother , she's crying I think something bad happened , when I was trying to call your father his phone was unreachable too " Mrs Jung explained to her daughter.

" what do you mean mom ? and what happed? " Kelly started sobbing when she thought that their might be something bad happened to her father or her friend.

" I don't know, let me first call back Lan's mother and ask her " Mrs Jung said when she was calling back Mrs Nam because when she heard her crying she unintentionally cut her off when she was trying to park the car on roadside.
