The Consequence of Betraying the Emperor

Two days later, Xiao Chengyan started to kill Xiao Yan and the people of Zhang Tian's house on the charge of conspiracy.

He was just as he said, he specially sent people to bring Xiao Yan and Zhang Tian out. The two of them were locked in cages, and everyone in the mansion was kneeling on the ground wearing prison clothes.

Outside of the execution grounds were the onlookers. They whispered amongst themselves, and all sorts of voices could be heard.

Amongst them, there were even agitated citizens who threw vegetables and leaves at Zhang Tian and his parents.

"The withdrawal killed so many people. Damn it."

"Yeah, he deserved to die."

The agitated citizens scolded Zhang Tian again.

Seeing his elderly parents' heads filled with vegetables and eggs, he felt extremely guilty. This time, he didn't even have the chance to see them face to face. The last time he saw them at the execution ground was when he personally saw them humiliated.
