A Sunday afternoon at McDonald's
A few days later, on a normal and sunny Sunday, the quadruplets are all staying at the house of Robert, at an apartment near the where students dorm is situated, and they are all sitting on couch, and sofas, all four of them are bored. No one has any idea what to do on this boring afternoon Sunday.
"Man…" says Roby looking at the wall clock. "I am bored."
"We all are." says Robert, Robert and Roman almost at the same time.
"So…" says Robert after he looks at the window.
"So…" says Roberta.
"Anyone hungry?" asks Roman after his stomach growled.
"Yeah." says all the three brothers at different times.
"Bonita?" asks Roby.
"No. KFC?" asks Roberta.
"To far." says Roman and Roby.
"Sparta?" asks Robert.
"No." responds the two brothers and the sister.
"McDonald's." says Roman.
"Sure…" says Roby.
"OK." says Robert.
"Yeah. McDonald's." says Roberta.
The quadruplets are getting out of their sofas, put some clothes on them, clothes that can help them withstand the cold of October month. Back then, McDonald's apps did not exist in this city, nor Glovo app, or any other Uber eats types of app existed in Pitesti, so the only way you could eat McDonald's here, you had to go to the centre of Pitesti and take it from there.
The quadruplets, after they have equipped themselves properly for their walking, Robert closes the door of his adoptive parents, and walks away from there with his friends outside, and toward the other side of the street, where they will take the bus to Centre of Pitesti, which is at two kilometres away from Robert's house.
After a few minutes, the quadruplets have arrived to the bus station near their high school. Now, there are a few of the people in there, and surprise, a classmate of these quadruplets are is on that bus station, by himself. The classmate of their quadruplets is a slim guy, short, wearing an orange vest, over a green and black shirt to look trendy, and a pair of blue jeans normal looking, not cut like those girls from social media are wearing on their profile pictures.
"Eduard?" asks Robert seeing his classmate on the bus station.
"Ah." says Eduard surprised to see the quadruplets on this afternoon. "Hey, guys. What are you doing?"
"We are going to McDonald's." says Robert. "How about you?"
"I am going to Trivale Mall." says Eduard. "To the Cinema."
"What film are you watching?" asks Roman to Eduard.
"Um… I am going… on a date." says Eduard sounding a bit awkward.
The quadruplets were all surprised by this reveal. They may be known Eduard as their shy and anti-social classmate on school, but they never thought Eduard would go on a date on this day. With a girl. But the hormones of the teenagers are making these soon-adults do crazy things.
"Oh…" says Roman. "What film though?"
"It is… a horror one." says Eduard. "Hostel."
"You are taking her out on Hostel?" asks Roberta shocked, who also intervened in this conversation. "You want to give her nightmares at night?"
"No. She was her idea."
The quadruplets did not say anything after this line. They were not expecting to hear this respond and a girl recommending such a grotesque film that is not even recommended for adults.
In a minute, the bus number eight arrives. The quadruplets and almost everyone from the bus station are taking that bus because it passes the centre of Pitesti, but it goes to the west side of Pitesti, a side that is mostly commercial one, unlike the one where Robert lives.
The quadruplets get inside the bus, walks toward the only four empty seats, takes those seats and wait until the bus arrives at their destination.
Few minutes later, the bus stops near Cercul Military, a building that is known as some kind of military museum on Pitesti. The squad gets out from the bus, walk a few meters to the Trivale Mall, Eduard joining their walk because McDonald's is built in the Trivale Mall, but later the years, this place will be moved near the Train Station and this placed will be replaced by a Starbucks.
The squad enters the McDonald's, and Eduard goes to the other entrance that will lead to the upper floors of this small mall. Entering this fast food restaurant, the squad goes to the cashier desk, where other are customers are there and waiting for their turn. As they stand there, Roby decides to leave his two brothers and one sister take the order while he is searching for an empty table. He told Roman to order a Big Mac Menu with chicken nuggets and onion sauce.
Roby takes a free table, sits on the couch, near the window, and looks on hi phone because he has got a notification from his WhatsApp. As Roby is checking the message, reads it in a few seconds, he looks back at one of his brothers, then back at his phone, he looks surprised.
"What the?"
