The Last Bit of Warmth

"What are you sorry for? The man up there must not be you. It's just the profile."

Shen Weiyang let go of him and smiled at him softly. She looked very calm and did not collapse like she expected.

Leng Huaijin looked at her in surprise. "Weiyang, you, you know this man is not me?"

Shen Weiyang reached out to help him straighten his messy collar. She tilted her head and thought for a while before saying, "Actually, I couldn't accept it when I first saw him. I was a little angry. But Chris and the others didn't seem to recognize you. I think it was because I was too sensitive."

Her crafty gaze landed on him. "But you, why are you so nervous? Is that man really you?"

"Of course not me."

Leng Huaijin denied immediately.

"Weiyang, I have never done anything wrong to you."

Shen Weiyang held his big hand and her clear eyes only reflected his face. "I believe you. You will not make me sad."
