For two days she rested in bed and on the third day she got dressed and went looking for Gabriel. He had promised to take her to the beach and today was the day. Having asked Erin, the butler where her husband was and learning he was in his office headed that way. She could hear voices talking from within, one was a woman's voice. So she knocked once before entering. A woman with dark hair and a top cut low in the front was standing behind Gabriel at the desk, leaning over his shoulder. She was pointing to something on the desk and they both looked up when they heard her.

"Come in," Gabriel said. "I'd like you to meet Mandy Stern, Mandy, my wife Paige."
