Nicki Palmer would describe herself in three words: adventurous, ambitious, and fun. She's not your average girl; she gets into trouble at school, doesn't do what her parents ask of her, and likes to sneak out at nights. She can't wait for high school to end so she can pursue her favourite hobby: dancing. 

Niall Harrison is a troublemaker who happens to hate her. He would describe Nicki in three words: selfish, spoiled, and annoying. The two of them have never been able to stand each other, ever since Rey moved to a public school 3 years ago.

All they have to do is get through their last year of school without killing each other before they will finally get their freedom. But that could be a little tough, since they're stubborn, tough, and strong-willed. Their differences may collide, but at the same time, they sort of complete each other. Too bad hate is much more powerful than love.

"You’re like a married couple with a child." Jake observes and I steer the conversation away by telling them that we should be ready around ten because it takes fifteen minutes to get to the club and the VIP entry opens at half past ten.

"Where are you going?" Eddie asks.

"Ha, let’s see how you don’t say no to this one." Niall laughs, and everyone’s watching me.

"Well the big scary guys at the entrance will not let you in."

"Because you’re too young." I tell him and spot the waitress walking over with our desserts. "Look! Chocolate cake!" I say and Eddie gets distracted, clapping excitedly as a plate of Chocolate Mousse is placed down in front of us.

I feed him half of my dessert before I eat the rest, and by the time we finish eating altogether, Eddie is leaning back against me and rubbing his belly with his eyes closed.
