CH2- IT'S A SCAM

"I chose the second option" without waiting for even a second replied Henry "and for my wish I want ...."

"Wait. Wait... Wait. You can't ask for just any wish. There are many limitations in granting a wish. You will get a book of all the wishes you are eligible to be granted."

Interrupted the Golden Entity as it waved its hand and a small thin book appeared in front of Henry "There you go. Take your time to choose".

Taking the book with lots of excitement thinking about all the cool powerful wishes it'll contain he opened it and started reading them.

There were only a dozen pages in the book with each page having the name and explanation of a skill.

After seeing how the content of the book was written and seeing so few pages he began to worry about not having many different wishes to choose from but as he started checking the names of the wishes his worries changed to depression.

'Memory- with this wish you can reincarnate with your old life's memories and... '

'Foodie - You won't get fat even if you eat the whole world...'

'Super-strength - can increase strength with hard work....'

'Status Panel- shows status'

'Gender Change-Can change your gender at your will at any time...'

"NO....No....no. This is not how it was supposed to be. Where is my Overpowered System? Where is my Sharingan? Why is there a wish to change my gender at will at any time I want? Where are all those cool powers I wanted to have?" Cried out Henry after checking out the whole book.

"Well, we can't do anything about this as this whole thing is decided by Akashik Codex. It's a pity that you have such low level wishes to choose from but I believe with hard work you can achieve the power level necessary to ascend".

"This...This Book...It's...It's a Scam!"

"Deal with it! Or you can still go for the first option," replied the golden entity in an annoyed tone.

Seeing the attitude of the Supreme being Henry sank into silence and started thinking about what to do now.

'What to do now? If I go choose the first option I'm sure I'll live a nice life with a rich and loving family. But I don't want that. I want to experience other worlds.' this time thinks instead of thinking aloud. 'I have such a legendary chance, but these wishes..... Argh. Whatever, let's go and see what will happen.'

After finishing his inner monologue he said to the entity "I'll take the second option with my wish is to be MEMORY. So do I get to choose the world I wish to go to?"

"Hmmm..? Who said it'll be up to you to decide the world? I've already selected a world for you."

"WHAT? Now you aren't even giving me this little privilege?"

"Listen Little one. If you want this chance then deal with all the limitations. It's not like all this stuff are decided by me. This whole thing is based on your past life's karma. You should have done more good stuff in your last life. Anyways many mortals would like to get this chance so if you aren't interested just say so. don't waste my time" said the golden entity in an angry and childish girly tone.

"Wait... Why did you sound like a little girl just now?" Henry felt confused.

"W... What Little girl's voice? You are a little girl. don't waste my time anymore. The world you will be going to is what you might know as HARRY POTTER Verse. By the way, I forgot to mention that since you've selected your wish more information about it will be available in the book you're holding" said the voice again turning back to its monotonous voice.

Feeling that it's not good to talk about the change of voice anymore he focused on what it said and opened the book with now only one page in it.

MEMORY (Rank -> H)

A wish that's able to allow someone to reincarnate with his previous life memories. It also provides some passive and active skills.

Passive skills - Boosted Memory, Enhanced Thinking, Mind Protection(weak)

Active skill - Memory Management, Memory manipulation(weak)

"Now the next thing is for you to choose between Reincarnation, Transmigration and random. And if you chose random you'll get one more wish to choose from the book. '' ignoring his depressed mood.

Knowing that complaining won't do him any good and if he accidentally pisses off this almighty being he'll lose this chance he decided to go with whatever he can have and asked" What is the difference between them?"

"If you choose reincarnation you'll be reborn in a random family. The family can be either muggle, one parent wizard (half-blood) or a noble wizarding (pure-blood) family. Transmigration gives you the option to be transmigrated into the body of any character of your choice between a certain period of timeline. And random as its name says… Everything will be random with us having no control over anything. You might be born as a son of some great wizard and witch or just a random muggle in a slum. So what would you like to choose?"

'Hmm... the last option is out of choice. I don' want to take risks. Between first and second, the first is also somewhat risky. What if I get reborn as a son of some death-eaters. Although there are many fanfictions where the Mc is from a death eater family I still don't want to take such a risk, that leaves me with only the second option. But now comes the main question - who should I choose? Dumbledore? He had a great talent in magic and if I get to take over his body I can do many great things with my future knowledge and live life leisurely. Wait, this golden thing said that I can only choose in between a certain timeline. I should ask it about it or if I randomly chose I might just find myself in the Dumb-o-dork's dying body.'

After completing his montage of the inner monologue he decided to clear his confusions before deciding who to choose.
