The news and assault

For the next few months Izuna has kept to his routine where he trains all day and goes hunting for food once a week, but these past few months there had been very abnormal behaviour in the animals and their patterns such as visiting the nearby lake for water or the big patch of fresh grass to eat. Izuna later learned that it was the shinobi from the land of earth, but what was odd is that they weren't taking the main route to the land of fire but they went the furthest and secretive way to enter into the land of fire. He also saw some burn and cut marks on some trees so he assumed that there were fights breaking out between the leaf shinobi and the earth shinobi which meant that they weren't on good terms.

*In Konoha*

"damn, can you believe it, they want to start a war again".

"yeah man, war around the corner, such bastards they want to start another war for their own benefits".

"well one thing that I know is that i'm going to slaughter anyone i come across".

Right now everyone in Konoha were tense because they knew that a war would break out any moment now and that they would be facing off against two big nations and possibly more, as smaller nations would try and reap the reward after the bigger nations had suffered.The two big nations that they would be facing were the land of earth also known as Iwagakure, and the land of wind also known as Sunagakure.

Currently the nations were sending in small groups of shinobi to go and scout out the strengths and weaknesses of the enemy, and this has been happening all over the edges of the land of fire. You could basically say that they were test the enemy and estimate their fighting power.

*back in the forest*

"heh heh, look she's all alone and I just checked she is a survivor from the uzumaki clan".

"what, to think that we missed a few, ha well boys looks like we have a job to do, we can't let these uzumaki join forces with Konah, it would just spell trouble for the future".

"yeah your right about that captain, oooohh yeah this should be fun all those leaf shinobi are weak and I have heard things about how scary an Uzumaki can be".

"alright shut up and you take the front with Dean, Reg you're with me and don't make a scene we don't want a group of those leaf scum to come for our heads". With that they all dispersed and slowly scanned the area before they started their assault.

Sara was sitting down in here chair reading a book when she felt something was off, she instantly put her guard up and listen intently. It was dead quiet except for the wind howling in the background. Then suddenly the first two kick the door down and barge in but the next second they were frozen in place, they couldn't move as black sealing chains made up of ink words came flying out the door and attached itself to their legs and arms.

"damn, i can't move".

"flippin idiots i told you not to make a scene and now look at you" this was what Sara heard when she saw kunai fly out from above and break the sealing chains. If these were shot at her she would have been able to sense them because of the killing intent given off from the enemy but they weren't so she didn't know, otherwise she would have stopped them in order to keep the enemy restrained.

Jumping down from where they were, to back up their partners one of them said "oh looks like you are all out of party ticks" .

She didn't respond and kept a calm face but with the hand behind her back she did a few, one handed signs and out of nowhere a group of kunai and shurikens came out flying towards the 4 shinobi.

As soon as their leader saw this he quickly made some hand signs and slammed down on the floor 'Earth style: mud wall jutsu' he said in his head and as his hand hit the floor a wall made of mud emerged and stopped the kunai and shuriken. But what they didn't know was that attached to some of the kunai were paper bombs and when they planted themselves in the wall and blew up.

"Boom!!!" the wall fell apart and flames engulfed the shinobi. They all jumped out, but not unscaved, two of them had burnt their arms as they were less skilled and took longer to react.

Sara was unfortunately in a worse position as she coughed out some blood. When she had blown up the house she jumped out the window and began to run into the forest. she had hoped that they had died but she didn't want to take chances because right now she was very vulnerable and wouldn't even be able to handle one of them. This was because she had to use some of her blood and infuse it with chakra to create some paper bombs (she had to use her blood as ink, to write on some paper then she infused it with her chakra and threw it with a kunai at the wall), this was very effective but it costed her too much as it weakened her body, and coupled with her all ready weak body and heart disease she was on the verge of collapsing.

She ran into the forest when the other shinobi where confused and angry "damn where is that crazy woman, I need to personally stab her myself!" one of the injured shinobi said.

"HEY! she ran into the forest, don't let her get away" another one said.

As she expected they were still alive and clearly experienced enough to react to that situation, but she was already running as fast as she could. 10 minutes later she was at her limit and needed to stop or she would run herself to death. Not far behind her 4 shinobi were chasing her and coupled with the fact that they were trying to find and follow her, and her head start it was surprising that she lasted this long and hadn't been caught yet.

As she rested against a tree to recover, a sword came out behind her and pierced her heart. She coughed out another mouthful of blood and turned to see the leader of their group. He was clearly better than the rest as he had already caught up to her. This was something she didn't expect, as she was planning to set some more traps to finish them off, but she didn't have time to as her life was slowly fading. A single tear drop rolled out her eye and then she let out her final breath and died.

'hmm she was too weak, how did she survive' the leader thought to himself 'that house was made for two people and i dare say that she made it herself, she must be living with someone else, or even more people'.

"Hhfff, hey boss did you get her" one of them finally caught up after a minute and asked.

"yeah that crazy woman is gone but we have to go" he replied.

"aww come on boss i was just gonna have some fun with her" he said as he licked his kunai.

"shut up you idiot, she's not alone and I think that her partner must have already heard that explosion, and is probably on his way here" he said in an angry tone "we will seek shelter in the land of rain". With that they ran off quickly because they weren't in shape to fight again and because there were also leaf shinobi after them.
