Part 2: Eh? Adoption? Me? To who?

Oc POV:
It's been about a year since I was found and taken into the orphanage in a unknown village of Hunter X Hunter. I only knew the world was Hunter X Hunter because I heard a Hunter who was looking for a child who he could teach his heritage skills to, perhaps he was infertile or a virgin that he had to adopt a child, but hey that's only a small assumption. He wasn't very nice though,he said he was looking for a good baby so they could take after his skills well, he took one look at my face, but perhaps it was the terrible breakfast I just had which caused me to have a frowning face.
To which he had the audacity to "tsk" at and say I'm a ugly baby and rejected adopting me. I just wished I could Amaterasu his cringy face. Anyways he didn't want to adopt any of us because we children looked weak. Oh well he missed a gem which was me, I had the sharingan and other wonderful abilities.Anyways I wonder what cringy food I will have for lunch....
Somewhere on Kukuru mountain-
A short figure opened his room and asked for his family members to clear their next week appointments and assassinations to go to a island near Whale Island.(lol lol guess who,this person is even shorter than Kalluto but is ancient old af)

Time skip the next week-
(Have you readers guessed it, bing bong bing bong! It's Maha Zoldyck.) Now they're on the airship to the island near Whale Island.
"Grandfather, what is the meaning of this trip?" Zeno Zoldyck asked his grandfather as he eyed his 2 year old grandson, Illumi in his son's lap as Silva tried teaching Illumi how to throw pins into targets or else he won't get his Gittarackur toy figure back. Kikyo was busy cooing at her now only child as he tried yeeting pins at the target for his toy figure back.
"I'm going to be adopting a female child." Maha said slowly and simply. "What?" Silva said confused, his confusion allowed Illumi to grab his precious Gittarackur toy figure back and release himself from his father's grip as he zipped away with an emotionless face. "A girl? Oh a girl would be nice for me to dress up!" Kikyo said gushing.
"I simply know that Kikyo won't be able to give birth to a female child which is why I'm adopting one." Maha said pausing a while before continuing. " This female child will be raised by Silva and Kikyo because me and Zeno are too old, the child will also have some special abilities and would be a waste if left to rot in a orphanage or live a normal human life." With that Maha ended and grabbed Illumi out of his hiding spot back onto his fathers lap. The child was still too short to reach the handle of the door to leave therefore he opted to hide.Illumi was so embarrassed he wanted to dig a hole and hide as his hiding spot was extremely obvious.
Silva,Kikyo and Zeno contemplated his words as they have never heard him talked that long before, besides he was the oldest and wisest , it would be best to hear his advice. With that, Illumi had hit a target thus tugging for his dad to see. " Oh good job, you can go back to play your legos now." Silva said as he decided to order stuff online for his new child as his wife furiously knitted clothes beside him for her future daughter.Illumi just wondered if he was gonna be an elder brother or younger brother to this new girl.
Speaking of age, " Wait grandfather/great-grandfather didn't even tell us the girl's age!" The 3 adults yelled as Illumi went back to building Legos with his purple pinhead friend.

Yui POV
Meanwhile I was trying to convince the other toddlers to eat their lunch.The girl I had picked up last year was a bit of a special case, she was extremely mature for her age and could eat food by herself. She could already speak and walk but was really antisocial, she would push the other toddlers away if they got close to her, her daily activities? Well, it was daydreaming, sometimes she would draw stuff that looks like words in a foreign language although none of the books we got here had that. I mean she could write and speak the language we got here so it's not that big of a deal right?
"Wahhhh" another toddler started crying, I grabbed the crying child away from another toddler as they were fighting,"Ding~" the doorbell to the orphanage rang, I signaled for my co worker to help take care of the toddlers and the crying one in my hands as I head out to see a weird family coming in.
Well the family had this really short bald man who had his sleeves in his pocket, a woman wearing a kimono and what seems to be electronic goggles? Another old man that had this "a kill a day" sign on his neck? And what seems to be a muscular man with long silver blonde hair and a black hair male toddler on his shoulder playing with a toy figure.
Silva POV
Great grandfather said he would be the one choosing the kid, he said he didn't even know the age of the kid but would still be doing the choosing himself. Kikyo had wanted to choose the girl with him but got rejected due to him saying the girl would be special or something like that. Oh well, the faster the better, Illumi hasn't had his lunch yet, better not let him starve. We waited for about 5 minutes before Great-grandfather had a grumpy toddler holding onto his jacket sleeve walk out. What is so special about this girl? She took a look at me and my family before having some shock on her face.
Perhaps she wasn't expecting a weird family to adopt her.
Oc POV:
I didn't think I would get adopted this quickly in a year but this old man came in with Yui had me desert my lunch. He told Yui his family was adopting me, lmao I thought I would be adopted into a normal family. But heck no as I walked out of the door. I saw Silva,Kikyo and most importantly Illumi. Bruhhhhhh Illumi was my favorite character in Hunter X Hunter and now I'm going to be adopted to be his sister? Bruh did I simp over him for a year with no reason,thinking back I still have photo albums dedicated to him, such as the mobage cards and fanarts I made of him.
Lmao how can I simp over him if he's going to be my elder brother. I'm simply having a panic attack about what to do, sure when I was born into the Uchiha family in my previous life I knew that it would be only a family of 5 and they were not that hard core on training. But the Zoldyck family, they were assassins who devoted themselves to the family even if it means throwing away one of their own such as Illumi trying to kill Alluka. Why did Maha Zoldyck want to adopt me. Why? Simply why?????
Silva POV:
The girl looks as though she's in thought. She looks more mature than normal children." Grandfather are we adopting this kid?" Dad asked Great-Grandfather. He replied with a single nod before sitting back in a chair. As Kikyo and I filled up the adoption papers, I sent Illumi to interact with the girl.
Oc POV:
Illumi was supposed to interact with me but he's just staring at me with his eyes. Zeno is just looking at us while looking at the adoption papers and information about me. "So uh, what do you like doing?" I said awkwardly to Illumi. He sure was cute as a toddler. " I like playing with my friend Gittarackur." He said showing me the purple pinhead figure. What the,is this where he gets his disguise idea in the hunter exam from? A toy? If the situation couldn't get any funnier I told him I just enjoy reading to which he replied with a single "oh".
"Child your name will be Kurayami, Kurayami Zoldyck." Maha told me. With that they adopted me. "Hold on, I have to collect my items first." I said to the adults. They signaled a servant of theirs to help me collect my items. The servant introduced herself to me as Akari. "She will be your personal caretaker and servant so be nice to her, Kurayami." Kikyo said to me.
As I grabbed the few items and clothes I had and placed in a bag, Akari offered to carry them for me to which I declined. I didn't want to be spoiled so early in life like certain people in my previous life. As I waved goodbye to the other children in the orphanage, I gave a hug to Yui thanking her for her care in this place. I certainly did not want to leave but the Zoldycks are certainly stronger than me now and I'm not complaining if I can see Illumi a lot and most importantly they certainly will have better food than the orphanage. With that I left the orphanage with the Zoldyck family as one of them too.
