Leilani
"Leilani," I heard Adonis say my name from behind me.
He had followed me.
I turned to see him in the doorway of the large balcony I stood in. He had a hand in his pocket as he walked towards me. "Why are you up here, all alone?"
I scoffed. Did he really just ask me that? I was pissed for a reason I couldn’t quite pinpoint. Though the fact that he came after me and left that blonde made me feel a little better.
He paused near the shiny rails and looked down at the dark surroundings. The only place that was brightly lit was the enormous driveway at the other side of the building and of course the mansion's gigantic entrance lobby downstairs where the dinner party was being held.
Music still filtered up into the shadowy balcony where we stood.
