At The Dinner Party (II)

I felt nervous and anxious about tonight. Especially when Adonis would be right there while we break the news to them. It just felt so… wrong. I knew I could have told him yesterday, but I just couldn’t bring myself to say it for some reasons. And now he was going to find out. Just thinking about having to look into his intense dark eyes after tonight was giving me major anxiety.

I sucked in a deep breath and slowly let it out, raising my fingers to clutch the beautiful ruby necklace around my neck. It matched perfectly with my outfit and accentuated my features, making me look like some perfectly created goddess. If my appearance could show the confliction within, I wouldn’t even look this good.
