Zero kept staring at me like I asked him to do something so awful. From the look on his face, it's obvious that praying is a foreign term to him.

Maybe I should stop thinking about our meeting as a very bad thing for me. Maybe I should look at it from another direction.

Could this be that he found me for a reason? Am I supposed to help his spiritual life?

But why him? He is so.....overwhelming. A handful. No, even the thought of it is ridiculous. A woman like me shouldn't be in company with a man like him, but it's obvious that he has made some kind of claims at me.

"What did you say we were supposed to do again before we dig in?" He grunted, bewildered.

"Pray. People pray before eating." I said softly.

"We ain't fucking normal people." He muttered, glaring at the food in front of him. He liked his lips as if he's barely stopping himself from diving in.
