LEILANI.
When I saw Jonathan, I knew there'll be trouble because Zavier is camped out under his tree outside.
"Hi, Jonathan." I said softly.
"Lani, darling. It's always hard to see you these days!" He exclaimed with a smile as he entered farther into the store.
"I've been busy here. It's the season, so....." I trailed off.
"I understand, honey. But what I mean is that it's always hard to see you ALONE these days. Your boyfriend is always on your tail, he doesn't let you have a breathing space." His lips turned down in disapproval, "He's even living with you."
I don't like the way he is talking about Zavier and the way he's demeaning our relationship. I already have enough guilt and shame without listening to him.
"My boyfriend is not your business, Jonathan." I informed him gently, but firmly.
