However, Gu Jue was considerate of his wife's body and did not cling to the very end. He just wanted to be especially close to her at all times, even if it was only kissing her fish scales, he felt extremely happy.


Fortunately, she had turned into a mermaid tail, for otherwise Su Wan's toes would have curled up. After they had both calmed down, she suddenly felt something under the blanket.


"Ajue, turn on the light and have a look."


The dim light slowly brightened, and Su Wan looked at the golden fish scale in her palm. She was stunned for a few seconds, then looked at Gu Jue with a grievous expression.


Gu Jue hastily said, "It wasn't me who made it fall off."


Su Wan: "Could it be because I'm getting old? So, I'm starting to lose scales?"


Just kidding, most beastmen can live to nearly two hundred years old. Su Wan's current age was absolutely youthful among beastmen, really.
