Just as Melanda blushed shyly, Aunt Annie returned with Millie. Millie seemed to be in high spirits. I reached out and touched her forehead.

"The nurse just measured her. She doesn't have a fever anymore. We can go home anytime," Auntie Annie said. At the same time, she winked. "I saw that the two of you were sleeping very soundly. You were probably tired, so I didn't wake you up."

Melanda blushed even more.

"Mom, what's wrong with your face? Why is it so red? Are you running a fever too?" Millie asked curiously while touching Melanda's forehead.

"Mom's fine. In that case, let's go home quickly. I want to go back and take a shower quickly." Melanda quickly changed the topic.

So we packed up and drove home.

"Baby, can you promise your uncle you'll get some rest? If you behave, I'll come see you later." Before leaving Melanda and Millie, I squatted down and told Millie.
