Wedding Turned Into A Funeral

Two days later, it was Dave's funeral.

After Mandy woke up, she had been crying silently. She didn't eat, drink, or make a fuss. Her parents and the others were worried.

"Honey, I understand how you feel," Melanda said as she hugged Mandy. "Your parents, Mike, and I are all with you. We'll always be with you. Don't worry about the baby. We'll help you. Our babies can grow up together, and they'll definitely be best friends. Now, please pull yourself together for him, okay?"

"But, Melanda, I can't live without Dave. I can't live without him." Mandy finally cried.

Melanda patted her back. "Cry if you want. I'll stay with you."

Melanda could understand Mandy's pain. If it was her, if it was Mike who was dead, she would definitely follow Mike. She wouldn't be able to live without him. No one could really empathize with this sort of pain and despair.

All she could do was stay with her and face everything to let her know she wasn't alone.
