My name is Jasamina McCully and I am twenty years old.

Two years ago, my parents forced me to marry a rich congressman named Ludale McCully. A forty-five year old man that turned out to be the most abusive man on the whole planet.

"To save my family from poverty." My mother had said to me as she pushed me to marry the forty-five year old man. I was crying and begging my parents but they didn&#x27;t listen. I was just a means to an end.

He abused and beat me within an inch of my life for the past two years. Everytime I get the chance, I try to escape and every single time he finds me.

On the fourth day, I'd taken the courage to ask the woman who was carrying the coffee and staring at us at very day questions. I found out the woman is the direct secretary to the CEO of the company, and when I asked....

"Sorry, the boss is not in his office, he and his assistant went on an emergency business trip and won't be back for a while." The woman had said with a polite smile, gesturing at the office of the boss.

I'd nodded and thanked the woman before taking the elevator down. It solidified my thoughts about Tann working directly for the CEO, and it must be that he accompanied the CEO to this trip.

I feel so happy knowing that Tann already made so much out of his life, working in such prestigious company and working directly under the CEO as the assistant director. Although, it also made me feel indescribable emotions.
