<p>Before we walked out, Louis showed me the rest of the house. It was spacious and stylishly furnished. The decor was modern, with just a hint of tropical influence and subtle African motifs. It had colorful lighting with different shades. A few sculptures and artwork.</p>

<p>  There were a total of five rooms. Two upstairs and three downstairs. The kitchen on the first floor was my dream kitchen. Simple but beautiful, with all the appliances you could ever imagine and granite countertops. One of the rooms was off-limits, locked. According to Louis, that was Nicholas's office. I got a strict warning from Louis never to snoop around there because it was only accessed by Nicholas and no one else. It was where he handled 'crucial businesses,' as Louis implied.</p>
