Chapter Ninety-One

Talia's POV:

The drive back to our suite was awfully quiet, and therefore it made the moment stretch. My heart was hammering in my chest and all manner of thoughts crossed my mind. What was Nicholas really going to do to me? I mean, it wasn't my fault. None of what happened was. Why was he taking it all out on me?

As we continued to ride, I stole glances at his face. He looked less angry and was looking out the window.

When the car stopped in front of a different hotel, I was tempted to ask questions, but thought it wise to keep quiet.

"I switched our hotels," he said without looking at me twice.

Our suite was luxurious, with 3 bathrooms (his, hers, and another one) separate bedroom and a dining/sitting room. We also had a great view of the city.
