DECISIONS, PART II

There was a minute of silence.

My head was rushing with all the things I had planned to say that now seemed irrelevant. I should have known he would understand what I wanted to say before I even said it because that was Robb we were talking about.

"Robb…" I started. I realised I was still holding his hands while he kept his gaze on them, thinking. "There's still a lot of things I want to say…"

"I know, and I'll hear you out like I always do." He gazed into my eyes, troubled. "I can't keep you from this, it's your home, I know you enough to know how much it means to you and that you'll do your best to get it. And I can't blame you… Nor do I feel like I have the right to stop you."

"I don't deserve you, you're too good to be true." And I truly believed it. He gave me a small smile.

"Maybe it's me the one that doesn't deserve you."
