It was a long and trying trek to Mount Orthys from Crete. After weeks of adventuring the two finally reached the base of the mountain.
"Last one up is a rotten god." Exclaimed Zeus in a childish matter.
Dunamis's straight mouth curved into a smile, a rare sight to behold
. . .
When Dunamis saw Mount Orthys's palace for the first time he couldn't help but be baffled. The palace was huge. Its gleaming black towers rose into the clouds like greedy fingers grasping for the stars.
. . .
The fortress was meant to inspire fear. Dunamis understood that immediately. But it also seemed lonely and dismal - not a fun place for a King of the cosmos. Zeus decided that if he were ever to make a palace for himself it would be much more lively. He wouldn't go so heavy on the whole 'lord of darkness' theme. His palace would be a brilliant, blinding white.
. . .
'One thing at a time' Zeus thought. 'I have to bear cups first.'

Rhea escorted her children into the royal hall, where old King Cannibal was going all emo talking to himself.
The years had not been kind to Kronos which was ironic since he was the lord of time. He hadn't aged, exactly, but he seemed tired and restless. Making mortal lives wither and die no longer amused him. Stepping on humans didn't make him laugh like it used to, despite their cute little shrieks.
He'd put on weight from eating and drinking too much. The five gods in his stomach didn't help the matter either. They'd got bigger and heavier over the years. They were constantly trying to break out by climbing up Kronos's throat. Their attempts were unsuccessful, but that wasn't to say it didn't hurt it also gave him terrible acid reflux.
. . .
"My lord, I have someone here for you to meet!"
Kronos peered over at the two handsome young Titans, who stood before him.
"Who. . .?"
The Taller of the two immortals bowed low in a sign of respect.
"My Lord, My name is Dunamis." His voice was deep, his tone was slow with authoritative power to it.
Zeus followed his brother's initial actions as he two started descending down into a bow albeit with some hesitance.
"I am Zeus, my lord," Zeus spoke "I wish to be your cupbearer."
Kronos ignored the second Titan, studying the face of the first voice, he couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity. His eyes held no emotion and his physique was well built. The taller Titan was littered with scars just like a veteran. "And you . . . ?"
"I've journeyed far to join your Royal Guard Milord."
Kronos was eager to accept this young Titan, he would become a great asset in the future that was for sure.
However, he found this all unsettling and too suspicious. He looked around trying to remember who had introduced them to him. But by now Rhea had already faded into the shadows of the marble throne room. Kronos turned his gaze back to the wannabe cupbearer.
"Do you have experience bearing cups," Asked Kronos?
Zeus grinned. "No my lord. But I'm a quick learner. I can also sing, dance and tell satyr jokes."
Zeus demonstrated his singing capabilities by bursting into a song one of the nymphs taught him back on Mount Ida. He also showed off his dance moves taught to him by the Kouretes. It was the most lively event that had happened in Mt. Orthys in a very long time. Other Titans gathered in the room to watch. Soon they were cheering and laughing. Even Kronos had a slight smile on his face.
"You're hired, in fact, I'm thirsty right now," Demanded Kronos "Fetch me a drink."
"One cup coming right up." Zeus hustled off to find the kitchen, where he filled a golden chalice with ice-chilled nectar.
Kronos fixed his gaze on the remaining Titan. For what felt like the fifth time today he had the same feeling of suspicion return to his lousy senses.
"Atlas!" Kronos boomed.
A figure started to walk out of the now crowded throne room. He was tall. Very tall, easily 50 metres high. His body was perfectly preportioned, his muscles had muscles he defined the word ripped. He wore a grey loincloth that surrounded his privates so he wouldn't be restricted by speed - this left room for his bulging muscles to be shown to his enemies to instil fear in their hearts.
Each step this man took sent a boom resounding through the throne room.
Titans amongst the crowd paved a line for this figure, that's when Dunamis knew he held an authoritative position amongst theTitans. As he got to the front he bent down on one knee with his right fist held to his heart
"My Lord," Spoke the man with an extremely deep voice giving off an ominous vibe.
Atlas radiated pure power. Dunamis could tell that they were alike in many ways, both held little emotion and embodied unparalleled physical strength. Dunamis made a short deduction that this Titan was by far the strongest man he has met so far barring Kronos of course.
Looking at this absolute unit Dunamis struggled to hide the feeling of fear he got from Atlas.
Kronos's straight-lined face turned into a knowing smirk
"This young Titan claims to join the Royal Gaurd." Kronos laughed "Give him the test!"

AN: Ohh the Cliffhanger, I'm getting chills already. Can Dunamis survive the test of will or will he falter and fail? Only time will tell.
