Chapter thirty-seven

I lay on a platform as the workers took care of my body.

I sank in relaxing my aching muscles. Why didn't I come for massages more often?

I needed it.

I watched what was going on, on the tv then the news popped.

"Today on the Fox channel, it was during the late evenings yesterday when the chief director was shot dead by an unknown gunman. Witnesses say that it must have been a sniper rifle used to take that shot.

We were all in devastation from the news as he didn't make it due to the clean shot to the head. My colleague will take it from here"

I didn't want to hear any of this, so I closed my eyes, ignoring the hushed whispers that started to grow among both workers and the customers.

I was currently sitting with the face treatment on my face.

I sighed, drifting into my thoughts.
