Chapter fifty-nine

As I turned, to look at him. I flipped the fork I had kept occasionally by my side at him. 

He caught it, just a few inches before it hit his face. 

The smile he had on faltered into a frown.

"I expected a much worse reaction, but I reckon you keep your emotions well kept under control."

I tried to muster up words and at least shout at him. But nothing came out. I didn't even know what to say to a…

"You scumbag,

" Ahh, there it is," he pressed his lips in a tight line. Before keeping a neutral face, "trust me I didn't want it to get to this but I couldn't let them take you. We need you on our side"

None of his words made any sense, and he saw my confusion.

"Are you still trying to hide your identity it was long exposed that day"

" What do you mean," I rubbed my forehead softly. Feeling the throwing ache within starts all over again.
