Chapter sixty-two

The trees stood tall waving vigorously as if they could fall off any moment from their branches. The wind had gotten stronger than before, I looked up in the ever cloudy sky with no signs of the sun nor the rain that felt like it would pour down soon.

I walked not too far from her side where she lay half-dead on the floor. She had given up so soon. There has to be a way or a cure.

I could sense his presence from the beginning. I thought he had come for me seeing as I had not found a way out.

"Come down here you bastard"

I shouted, knowing he could hear very loud and clear through the gush of wind blowing around us.

After some minutes they both came down, the giant smirk on their face. He was gloating at us.

His eyes narrowed to her who had come to my rescue, not one sign of remorse to her dying body.

I gripped my fist tightly, as he approached closer to me. The second person must have been Zeus, although he stayed behind him.
