Chapter sixty-five

We left the area quickly after hearing a few other people arrive, sprinting off in wolf form. It was faster, along the way we made a few stops here and there, feeding on rabbits and deer.

It felt like a camping trip without the tents and fire just us under the clear sky.

We arrived at the sign where the town started, it felt nostalgic. It felt like home.

I wish I could say that everywhere was deserted not a single soul came into sight both humans that lived here. Everyone was gone but where.

My nerves were on edge as I walked through the deserted street that was once filled with people.

Families lived here once, it was hard to imagine anyone lived here. Dried blood stains on the walls and floors. You could smell dead human carcasses close by.
