Chapter seventy-two

The sounds of the wind whistling vigorously in my ear, and the dark clouds gathered up in the sky.

A small flash illuminated the earth floor with a quick bright light before it became dark again.

Nigel moved forward to the numerous bodies scattered on the floor.

He picked them up, arranging them in a messy pile.

I stood unmoving and my head was in complete turmoil.

After he was done he looked back to Jane with a slight nod she understood and whispered, a spark ignited and their whole body caught up in flames.

"This isn't real," I said to myself, trying to figure out where it all went wrong, but still nothing came up.

"Why..., they didn't deserve this" the fire flicked creating crackled noise and ashes flew into the windy sky.

"It's about to rain, we need to find shelter" he looked at Jane, "do you think you can take us home," he asked.

"I will try " she went to the corner chanting some spells.
