Chapter eighty-seven

"You came at last," I said in a monotonous tone.

She had a concerned look on her face.

"It must have been hard," she said

"I didn't expect you to understand since you decided to end our existence just like that" I spat bitterly.

Her gaze travelled down to the red stone in my hands. The dark aura that oozed from it was horrendous. It gave an eerie feeling.

I stretched my hand handing over the stone to her.

"What should I do with it," she asked, which left me somewhat confused.

"Destroy it, send it to its oblivion or something. This almost sent the world to its ruin."

"I am afraid that the crystal of light and darkness can't be placed together. Unless under a host"

I raised an eyebrow, "what do you mean?"

"I can't hold it or be in the same proximity with it. Unless there will be an imbalance."

"And that is bad why…"

"It's like setting a match In a gaslit room." I formed an 'ohh' with my lips slowly nodding.
