Apple's Thinking

Apple's POV

At the airport, we were greeted by members of the Jones Telecommunications team when we landed. Bruce and Chris got into a stretch limo with Jones officials and were driven to the Jones headquarters, while the Omnilert team was herded into a van driven by an assistant.  Bruce and Chris were taken to the Jones office.

When we walked off the plane, the temperature was close to seventy degrees, and the sky was clear. Before getting into the car, we all removed our winter coats and checked them in with our luggage on the plane.

The entirety of the day was spent with me being cooped up in a room with a manager and half a dozen analysts working for Jones's network expansion group. The task at hand was to conduct a cost analysis on the key market expansion goals they had set for themselves. It was up to me to determine if Jones's intentions were realistic or if they were being blown out of proportion in order to drive up the stock price of the acquisition.
