Married to The Mysterious Prince

Maintaining his silence for a while, Nicien Vamieres observed his older sister and then briefly turned away to clear his mind. He then shifted his gaze back to Avilina and said, "Calm down first. We can talk."

"What do you want to say?" Avilina Varian asked. Her tone was much calm compared to earlier and it was just what Prince Nicien wanted.

"I want you to trust in me," Nicien Vamieres promptly said and the look on Avilina's face told him that it wasn't the response she expected. "Ericus Macheze might be the son of Duke Macheze but he shares the same goal as us."

"I don't care about that," Avilina firmly argued but the Prince remained persistent.

"I can work with him and destroy Hamon Caderin," he said in a surprisingly calm voice. "Ericus Macheze will even point his sword at his father if needed. So, he is trustworthy."
