With the introduction of a new vaccine to combat the Corona virus, the whole world finally started going back to normal. The quarantine was scrapped, travel bans were lifted and offices, malls and theatres all over the globe started opening up.

Things were looking especially good for Ray until a deadly new strand of COVID-19 forced the world to go into lockdown once again. But little did Ray know that the lockdown would be the least of his worries. The mutated virus has started to transform their hosts into deranged monsters with only one thing on their mind: Human Flesh.

Will Ray, who has lived most of his life playing video games on his computer, be able to survive this increasingly dangerous new world all the while protecting the ones he loves most?

The Deathless Ones

As they neared Athani, Ray slowed down the car considerably and carefully climbed up the elevated road. Just before entering town, Ray turned to the left and parked the car behind an old, abandoned building. He then turned his head and spoke collectively to all of them.


"Okay so," he began, "ahead of us is an entire town full of Deathless. I've parked the car here so it stays out of sight of them. But we need someone to keep a watch of what happens in Athani. If my calculations are correct, we still have a minute or two before the Deathless start forming the mound. Whoever the lookout is will have to run back and inform us so we can leave right away."


Leon looked back to see if anyone would volunteer. His eyes found Rody who kept shooting cautious glances at Samantha. Leon figured that his hands were virtually tied.
