To The Land Of Mages

Theta Mariyah was now clad in servant clothing. She was so used to being treated as one to the point that it had given her an advantage when she needed to act like one. As per the tradition of the Lykus Empire, all the servants wore veils. It was a glaring sign of discrimination for all non-mage folks.

So Theta could not help but lament as she watched the excited buzz of the servants around her. She thought, 'Have they got no clue at all how their lives would end up inside a mage country that will surely discriminate against them?'

She did not know what to feel about them anymore. Theta wanted to smack the living shit out of them and tell them to plan and run away while they were on the road because they would be forever tagged as cripple or useless once they entered the borders of the Lykus Empire. But she knew she could not do it – not when she used dark magic to them to make them believe that she was one of them ever since the beginning.
