2 All things bitter sweet
Jack awoke from his long lasting calming sleep,
While both of his sister's Jessica and Annabell were sitting on the soft cream carpet watching Barbie on milkshake,
Which was on channel five, a saterlight channel before cable TV came out,
Jack slowly sat himself up looking around for his mother who was up the stairs giving his 3 month old brother Anthony a shallow yet warm bath,
Dazed and confused he climbed off of the red sofa resulting in him to trip over Anthony's car seat,
Annabell quickly jumped up and grabbed Jack ensuring that he didn't get injured even more than he was already,
"Jack" Annabell spoke in a panicked and in a blatant concencern,
"Mummy will be down again soon, she's giving Anthony a bath" she reassured him in a loving and calming way
"Oh Annabell" Jessica said in a mocking tone
"No body likes or wants Jack other than you" Jessica said while slapping the back of Jack's head,
"Jessica stop picking on Jack" Annabell said in a over protective manner,
Prevoked and jealous Jessica went to hit Annabell before their mother Taylor carried baby Anthony downstairs fresh and clean from his warm bath,
"Kids behave and watch TV" Taylor said putting the two girls in their place,
"Yes mummy" the girls spoke submissively at the exact same time while Jack stood there observing and confused about what had just happened,
He looked at how clean the floor was, the stain left from his blood completely removed from the carpet making it seem like nothing had happened,
He grabbed his cotton blanket and looked at Annabell as she stared at him caringly,
"Jack?" She said in a soft manner
"Do you want to watch Barbie with me?" She asked him nicely,
Jack silently nodded his head and sat down next to his long brown haired sister who showed him more love and concern than his mother did at the time,
Jack decided to lay his sore head on Annabell's lap, she stroked his right cheek gentally as he sucked on his left thumb and hugged into his blanket,
Jack started to fall asleep instantly as he felt safe and comfortable with Annabell who had been getting the same treatment as he was,
Jack saw everything that had happened to Annabell which was one of the reasons to why he had trouble sleeping at night while D.H was there,
D.H was the abusive step farther who had injured jack and abused his too sisters and who was the farther of Anthony,
"Kids!" Taylor shouted completely forgetting about Jack's head
"Lunch is ready!" She called out as loud as she could,
As they all ran into the kitchen to get their lunch Jack had tripped over and smacked his head off the white wooden door frame,
"Shit!" Taylor shouted in concern grabbing Jack who had passed out prior to the fall,
"Annabell baby?" Taylor said quickly but calm,
"Yes mummy?" Annabell responded,
"Get mummy Jack's pillow" she commanded while carrying Jack through into the living room to lay him onto the plush red sofa,
Annabell darted up the stairs as fast as she could go to grab Jack's blue Buzz light year pillow, which was the only pillow he would use, and his blue's clue's dog teddy bear because it made Jack feel at his safest,
She then darted back down the stairs almost tripping over a bit of loose carpet resulting in her stumbling and almost dropping his bear down the stair's,
As she approached the bottom of the steep staircase Margret the evil twisted battle Axe grand mother and Fuckface the demented grand father's blue ford pulled up in the icey drive way,
The car doors swung open and slammed shut as they both approached the solid wooden door,
"Taylor, it's me Margret" the old bat hollered as loud as she could
"We've brung sweets" Fuckface yelled while chapping on the cold double glazed window from the outside,
Taylor opened up the door hesitantly while carrying Jack's sleeping body,
"Heya, sorry but Jack had a accident last night and the hospital said said I have to keep the excitement levels down until his head heals" Taylor spoke politely,
"What happened?" Fuckface asked abruptly
"He fell down the stair's looking for me as he had another nightmare" she lied to the old battle Axe and her demented fiance,
Fuckface handed Taylor the bag of Sweet's while giving her the death stare before rudely saying,
"Come on Margret, let's leave this fat cow to tend to her retarded children"
He insisted before slamming his car door shut and starting up his engine,
"Enjoy your day you fat fucking whore" Margret screeched while she got back into Fuckface's blue ford,
Slowly they began to reverse out of the drive and into the street's of Charleston,
Taylor quickly closed the wooden door and layed Jack down onto the plush red sofa with his bear and blanket kissing him on his forehead before allowing him to get more rest before getting on with the dinner,
"Mummy" Annabell said hoping to grab Taylors attention,
"Yes baby?" Taylor asked her as she peeled the tatties to make sossauge casserole with a side of greens which D.H always referred to as 'Rabbit food' as he tried to get the kids to starve themselves because he never wanted to take them on but he had no choice in the matter,
"How long till teas ready?" Annabell asked her while her empty stomach rumbled in a hungry fashion,
"Not long now baby,only another two hours and fourty five minutes" Taylor said opening up the cupboard full of crisps and Cookie's handing Annabell a pack of chrisps for her and Jessica to munch on while she baked the food and cleaned the kitchen as she went along,
"Thank you mummy" Annabell said as she slowly walked into the living room giving their eldest sister a pack of skips,
"Thank you Anna" Jessica said politely as they watched Barbie on the telly, Jack still asleep on the sofa as they watched their show on the telly,
"Jessica?" Annabell asked in a curious manner,
"Yes Anna?" Jessica responded
"Do you want to play a game while Jack's asleep? As I'm bored and Jack usually plays hide and seek with me" Annabell infoed Jessica after asking her to play a game with her.
