Too much control

[Maybe I gone too far?]

[Nahhhh that would be stupid]

It's been 4 years since Chizuke has been alive in the Naruto world, he's still as clueless about the current time as he was before but at least he got a hint, the gigantic wall where the Hokage faces only have 3 faces, therefore he can somewhat guess where in time he was.

[Anywhere between the first and third ninja war... not very telling at all]

This means that it will be a long time before he even gets to meet any main characters that are not old, actually, it will mean that he could definitely be very old before the fourth ninja war if it even happens.

Anyways, Chizuke has been perfecting the tree walking exercise to the most absurd degrees since having a good foundation in chakra control is going to be very needed if he wants to turn enemies into a bloody mist with mere punches, a path he is very keen on.

He managed to climb to the very top to the top of the tree in a week since he diligently did the leaf exercise he didn't need too many tries to make good progress on the tree, so he started to try a lot of ways to walk the tree, including blindfolded, with all four limbs, on slippery surfaces and even just hanging upside down the tree for as long as possible!

Of course, it didn't take long for him to notice that although they prove a distinct challenge, he only needed a month for him to simply run out of ideas. But he knew that it wasn't enough, after all, even Naruto managed to do the exercise extremely quickly and he wasn't known to have good chakra control.

So he got an idea that he deeply regretted, he decided to stick to the ceiling, not a very good challenge since he has already done it many times, but this time he lay in the ceiling only sticking to it through Tenketsu on his back.

Again, not very hard after some tries.

But the next step was the thing that took him the rest of the year to do, sleep on the ceiling.

[And the nonexistent haters called me a madman]

He actually managed to do a full 8 hours of sleep consistently, but he of course cursed everything on earth before he even managed to do it once, controlling your chakra while sleeping was a daunting task that not even some seasoned shinobi are prepared to do since it requires to literally fall to the floor every time you fail.

It would be very plausible to die of sleep deprivation while trying the exercise since it needed an iron will, Chizuke, of course, wasn't an idiot of that kind yet, so he opted to try to sleep on the ceiling for 5 hours while the other 3 where for normal sleep, the non-insane kind.

After the hell that was not receiving very good sleep at all for a grueling 5 months, he was finally having some nights where he actually didn't fall, and so with reignited courage, he continued on and actually managed to have the amount of control to not fall from the ceiling to such a degree to be instinctual.

Chizuke believes that he needs a simple 'insane' amount of control over his chakra to learn anything about Iryojutsu, which is not really 'wrong' but is simply too much, Chizuke has done something akin to learning all the medicines effects and interactions in order cure a cold, not something needed, but definitely not wasted!

[I'm a genius, now the next exercise is not something cool, but something is bugging me about this whole ordeal]

Chizuke may be stupid, but he wasn't an idiot, he knew that there was something tugging on his mind, pleading to be acknowledged, something that defied his perception of the world but he didn't know what that was, but the constant feeling of something simply being 'off' persisted until the 'sleeping in the ceiling' exercise.

[The weight is off]

As simple as that, the weight of certain objects was making him confused, everything felt light even though he knew that objects like chairs and even plates shouldn't be that easy to move. At first, he attributed this to chakra, he did feel a lot more energetic and even strong after learning about chakra so maybe that was the deal, but he still wasn't sure about that.

But the tree and ceiling exercise lead him to the correct answer, or at least what he thought was the answer, the weight of the object simple was lesser, this included himself. He knew that a four-year-old doesn't weigh a lot, but he was basically doing handstands to stop his fall as if they were nothing.

[Something really is off]

And so he experimented time to time with various objects, principally letting them fall and seeing their speed, and after a lot of time and his own ability to literally twist his body in even the smallest of falls, he understood.

[Gravity huh?]

He didn't have that detail very nailed, but it made sense, after all the elemental nations and the world map of the naruto world didn't feel very big, so there simply being less gravity simply meant the entire planet was probably smaller.

[Creating a moon with Planetary devastation sounds plausible if the size of the moon was smaller]

In reality, this finding did nothing much except satiate his curiosity, but it also made him aware of the fact that his body was developing like one of earth, meaning that he was getting accustomed to 'earth gravity', not 'elemental nations gravity', he had no fucking idea as to why that was the case, but to be fair, he also didn't understand why he was even reborn in the first place.

As to the why it was a simple as to say that someone's soul played a big role in the formation of one physical appearance and even capabilities, this is the reason that resurrections actually make the dead look like they were in life, such as the 'impure world reincarnation', this simply made his body adapt more to earth standards than the standards of his new world, making him stronger than the average person.

But this is negligible when one knows that the average shinobi is several times stronger than the average person, so nothing too noteworthy.
