New World / Act 1, Part 3

The room was cold

I breathed in slowly

and exhaled slowly

I closed my eyes

I breathed in

thinking...

I guess it was time for the plan to be set in motion

I opened them

and exhaled

noticing the misty cloud exit my mouth

I paid no mind to it

I walked threw it but then stop suddenly

I forgot about the window that was to the side of the door I just used

I kneeled down and peeked outside

I noticed Aiden standing while looking at the warehouse.

By the way his eyes were moving, I could tell that he was looking for another way to get inside.

I looked at him for a little while longer but then...

WOOOSH

I quickly turned around feeling a strong sense of danger, someone was looking at me. this presence was as if someone was holding a dagger right next to my throat.

I tried looking for the source but I couldn't pinpoint it.

The warehouse was big, it was like one big room with little offices spread around.

I was on the railing that was on the roof.

I stood up and grabbed the railing

I then clenched the railing with my hands while slowly emitting a little bit of my KIn, if I released too much of my Kin, the people inside would sense a change in the atmosphere, this was because I was slowly covering the whole warehouse with my Kin. My plan here was to cover the whole warehouse with my Kin so I would be able to sense how many people were in the building and see their exact location, this would also better help me pinpoint the source of the threat, you could see it as being able to see threw walls, but it was really more like being able to sense their presence. I had to be careful tho, Too little Kin would resolve in me having the wrong data, like the number of people in the building being wrong and if the Kin was spread unequally, it might not pick up people's presence. But too much Kin and the people inside would be notified that someone was up to something, as they would feel something weird.

I closed my eyes

The Kin was surrounding the warehouse...but slowly

I concentrated on the amount of Kin I was releasing

trying to get the exact amount released, perfect.

I opened my eyes.

*Shin stood still while looking at the people below him with an emotionless expression*

found you, but why you? It's been so long since your demise. to think you would come back after everything I did

"This is going to be fun"

I chuckled

I took my hands off the railing and turned left and started running straight

I then turned right and then took a left.

I started speeding up

"tch...shit"

I was on the opposite side of the warehouse

there was a window right in front of me with no door in sight.

The person that was looking at me probably came down and looked at me from this window then climbed back up to the rooftop

I came to this idea because by using my Kin I felt a strange presence on top of the warehouse. Almost as if it was trying to hide itself.

CRASH

I jumped threw the window, and the sound of glass breaking and hitting the ground came into my ear.

As soon as I jumped out the window I released some of my KIn to take a step in the air to switch the way I was heading. Before I would have been heading to the roof of the building next door, but when I used my KIn I took a step mid-air to change my direction.

I did a backflip and then started climbing on the side of the roof

When I made it to the rooftop, it started raining.

I stopped climbing and stood on the rooftop

I looked up... and grinned

with the water hitting my face

"Didn't think you would show your face again" I said

I looked down catching their gaze

Their presence revealed itself

"You really think I wouldn't do anything after what you did to me?"

Ema had a scar on her left eye, she was around 5'8, 4 inches shorter than me.

She had a slim build with blonde hair and a sword that was on a holster on her waist.

"Everything I did? but Ema, that was all you ahahah"

"TCH, you made me do it"

Her tone of voice was changing

"I made you? if i recall, you..."

I pointed at her

"...You were the one who lent the finishing blow, all I did was set up the dominos, and you knocked them down, because of your blindness and rage, all your friends are dead if you had listened to her...at that moment, everyone you loved would still be here ahahaha"

The biggest grin formed on my face after speaking does words

"Your sick"

"O..."

My grin vanished

"I may be, but that doesn't concern you anymore, A story that has finished, and a character that cant accept the ending. That's all you are and that's all it will ever be"

She looked at me with her sharpest look

"What you say may be true, but this is merely part two, that kid your with..."

She had expected me to get nervous after hearing does words but my mind was completely still

"...you're planning to do the same thing aren't you?"

I looked at her and thought for a little but then I finally gave a response

"His story will be completely in his hands, whatever happens, it will be his doing, I will only be there to watch his downfall"

"So is that a no?" she asked

The rain started to ramp up

"No, one day I and him will clash, but the outcome of that is in hands, and seeing on hows he's handling his sister and mom's death, I say he'll be just fine" I grinned

"So are you planning to do anything that will hurt him?"

'Why all these questions? Why so interested in him? Is it that...the Noble Houses are interested in him?

"How did you..."

I smiled

"Knowing you, you haven't told them what happened between you and I..."

She stood still by the slight change in her heartbeat I could tell I was right

"calm down, I don't plan to do anything until he can protect those close to him, well those close to him in the future"

She put one of her legs back and put one upfront and put her hands on her holster

getting in an attack position.

A large amount of Kin was released but then dumb downed and put into her sword.

Her Kin color was a mix of red, yellow and blue

"What you did to me won't happen to him, I won't let it happen"

I smiled then laughed

"This should be fun"
