Chapter 38 : Plans and Suggestions

Hayden's POV

Rhett and I gave each other a cautious look as we headed inside the building of the pack house. Even from the outside we could hear the yelling and screaming of the dean due to our heightened senses and it wasn't a pretty sight.

"He is my nephew, Xavier!" Dante yelled out in a fit of rage, and then we heard some things flying about the room. Just as we entered the conference room we saw the evidence of the dean's rage in a smashed vase on the ground.

Despite Dante's enraged state, Xavier sat still and passive in one of the chairs at the large oak table and said nothing in response to the man's anger. This was generally Xavier's tactic for most things.

Whenever there was a wolf who had lost himself and become rageful, Xavier preferred to stay silent and listen to the complaints. He had said that it was better to have the opposing wolf get their anger out first and then try to speak with them.
