As always, as soon as the sun rises, my eyes shot open. I wasn't even surprised anymore that I had woken up even before the alarm clock rang.

I got up quickly and prepared to head to the training grounds. It was my first day as beta after all. But when I arrived at the location, I was surprised to see no one present but Easton.

"Looks like your squad doesn't like you." Alpha Derek says, appearing from behind.

I furrowed my eyebrows and turned to him, "They're kids. And they don't wake up this early anyway."

"They're not stupid. Since I appointed you as Beta, they should know pack training is as early as 6 am if this is how you're getting treated by your squad. They you'd better work hard to earn their loyalty, huh?"

"It's your squad. Solve it on your own." He then leaves.
