I can’t sleep. My eyes remain open through out the night, fixed on the wall clock as it mocks my tear stained cheeks with its ticks.
My body had given me control when my heat ended but I refuse to move. The little pain between my thigh stops me from doing so, and so does Sebastian’s heavy arm on my waist.
All I can listen to are his snores and sleepy grunts, though even in this stillness of mine I can only think of how to end his life even though he takes me with him.
"I can hear your eyes flicking round the room," He suddenly speaks, catching me off guard but I don’t show it.
The bed creaks as he moves forward to kiss my mark. Sparks go through my body but I still don’t move a muscle.
"Hmm, you’re a little too quiet today," He observes, "Don’t tell me that you’re shy to face me after last night."
I don’t say a word as he turns me to face him.
