Test Subject No. 10,008 is now sanitized, said a robotic voice. A now broken test subject laying on the floor, now being one of the only octolings to survive the process. "How do you feel?" the robotic voice said. No response. This war has been going on for far to long.

Meanwhile in Octo canyon, an agent meeting was being called. 8 agents talking to each other about their next move.

Sanitized Soldier

3 and 4 were assigned to scout the area to make sure no octarians were lingering around.


"So, you thing you'll see that octoling again?" 4 said, turning to 3.


"Did he look sanitized?" 4 said, growing more curious about this octoling her friend had met."


"What are you doing?" 3 asked, stopping and walking over to 4.


"Are you gonna try and help him?" 4 said, her voice turning serious.


3 looked at 4 in a face of shock. "What! Why would I want to help scum like him!?"


"Because, there might be a way to un-sanitize him."


3 looked at 4, her expression turning back to normal.


"Y-You really think that there's a way to turn him back?"


"Maybe so, we just have to try." 4 said, continuing to walk forward. 3 followed.


"Ah, what was I gonna tell her?" 3 though out loud. 4 stopped once again and turned to 3 with a curious expression on her face.


"So have you noticed that Marie has been acting strange?" 3 asked 4.


"Now that you mention it, she won't stop reading that book."


"Cause I don't feel like doing it myself."


"Ah, fine." 4 said, giving up on fighting 3 about it.


"Wanna head back? It doesn't seem like there's anything out here."


"Yeah sure." 4 said, following 3 back to base.


4 gave her a side glance and sat down next to her.


Marie's face turned slightly red at the question, and all she did was walk away into the cabin. 4 was confused.


"Oi 4! Come with me!" Callie yelled, signaling for 4 to follow her.


4 followed Callie to the back of the cabin.


"So you wanted to know what Marie was reading?" Callie asked the confused and curious agent.


Callie turned away, knowing that if Marie found out that she told 4 what she was reading, she would be mad. But Callie didn't really care.


"Okay so, what she's reading is what she call the Agent 4 Encyclopedia."


4 looked at Callie with confusion on her face, she tilted her head.


"Agent 4 Encyclopedia? What the Hell is that?"


"W-Well, it's kinda a book Marie made about you."


"Yeah, she really likes you 4.." Callie said, sorta regretting her decision.


"Like, does she like like me? Or just like?" 4 asked.


"Um, she like likes you.." Callie said.


4's face turned a bright red, she slowly turned around and walked away to the manhole. She went through it and returned to Inkopolis for the day. She walked to one of the alleyways and sat down, putting her face in her knees.
