Chapter 4: Crisis of the Uchihas, Coup d'etat

The Uchihas were pressured so heavily that their rage fanned their desire to rebel, with Danzo also insinuating their betrayal to the third Hokage, Hiruzen, and the order to kill is implemented.

His fists tightened up and a gleam started to shine in his eyes.

"My physical body is small but my chakra reserves by now is still large compared to a Jonin, I am blessed to have inherited good talents from my parents but can my body hold up even after finely controlling this large chakra? I may die"

Considering his stature, it is impossible for Naruto to actually fight Itachi at his current level.

He may have a large quantifiable reserve of chakra, it is another story for his body to actually use this properly while not being destroyed by his own talent.

Having the talent but being unable to use it is such a pain.

"I need help" Naruto soon arrived at a conclusion.

The only person he can imagine to seek help was his Jonin teacher in the future and a student of his father, the Copy Ninja Hatake Kakashi.

"But will he actually help? Well, there's nothing I can lose by trying"

Steeling his resolve, Naruto ran faster focusing his chakra on his legs.

He looked like a wind grazing the surrounding by how fast he actually ran towards somewhere.

"Kakashi-sensei was already a Jonin instructor at this point so the first stop is the training grounds"

Unfortunately, Kakashi and no one were there after he arrived.

"Damn, just where must he be?" Naruto wondered and his instincts kicked in.

Someone was beside him.

His eyes tightened and immediately looked to who was it.

"Oi! Why are you here? You look like a ninja student and currently, your tests are being held, so why is a student here?" Naruto was barraged with questions but soon exhaled deeply.

The person in front of him was someone he was currently finding.

The team leader of Team 7, Hatake Kakashi.

Naruto was impressed that Kakashi could lie through his teeth that he does not know him but he remembered that being the Fourth Hokage's son must be kept secret to ensure his safety from dangerous people, like Danzo.

This creepy bastard monitors children from the academy and evaluates if that child is worthy to be trained for his private army, the anbus.

It is a special unit that does dirty deeds secretly for Konoha, particularly missions that must be done with utmost secrecy like assassinations or others.

Taking a deep breath, Naruto ask straightforwardly.

"Sir! Can you please help me?"

Kakashi was bewildered why his teacher's son is asking for help, is he in mortal danger?

Kakashi asked to further clarify.

"Are you in trouble?"

Naruto nodded.

"Technically but my friend is actually someone that need help, but he did not know that he need help so I was the one that sought for it"

Looking at this little child, Kakashi hummed for a bit and replied.

"Let us hear about your trouble, what was it?"

Naruto fabricated a story that he heard some people talking about a secret mission to eradicate one of the foundational clans of Konoha, the Uchihas.

After interweaving truths and white lies in his words, Kakashi was surprised yet doubtful.

"It is a severe accusation, so you must prove that what you said is right" Kakashi warned.

In the face of crisis, Naruto's brain ran with full capacity, thinking of anything that can solve his current crisis.

A bulb appeared in his eyes.

Naruto slowly formed hand seals and suddenly vanished in front of Kakashi.

Kakashi was stunned at the sight in front of him.

Naruto vanished out of thin air, it was not chameleon/camouflage Jutsu but was something different.

"Incredible, such types of jutsus are often performed by anbus but an academy student is able to pull it off!" Kakashi whispered inside his mind.

Some elite Chunin-level anbus may be able to at least perform the Jutsu but mostly Jonin-level anbus are only able to do it perfectly.

Looking at Naruto's performance, even a Jonin like himself will not be able to spot Naruto if he purposely hid and did not perform it like today in front of his face.

"So this is how you were able to spy on them, saying that I did believe what you said, so what?" Kakashi replied coldly.

Kakashi may be concerned about Naruto but many eyes are looking at Naruto somewhere so he needed to be careful not to expose himself.

After all his teammates died, Naruto was the only person that is technically someone he is close with even without close interactions as Naruto is his teacher's son, a Hokage descendant at that.

The other villages always plotted to kidnap Naruto but he was always there to prevent it with the help of the third Hokage himself, he may not be able to protect his team and many of his loved ones, but he can at least protect a child to an extent.

In regards to Naruto's plea, Kakashi already decided.

Those who abandon the rules of ninjas and their mission are scum, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum!

It is a sentence his deceased friend left a very long time ago, this phrase is deeply embedded in him, and seeing that the lonely child he always sees afar has a friend he cares about, Kakashi is set to help him in any way, not just because he was his teacher's son but because he was doing it for a friend's sake.

He just wanted to see Naruto's reaction to his refusal.

Kakashi can see a gaze that is usually not seen in a child, no, this expression is not something a kid can actually pull off.

Naruto was just looking at him calmly but his clear blue eyes reflected a light that seemed bottomless for someone to look at and comprehend what is under of it.

"Still, Thank you, sir! It was actually a joke, HAHAHA, you actually believed it?" Naruto laughed hard as if he heard something ridiculous for the first time.
