Tired but arriving at his Destination, Kalivare heads into the Palace, making his way past the Thone Hall, and down a long, dark abandoned Hallway. The only light source, was coming from the Orb containing Aurora.
She had guided him throughout the palace, down to a chamber deep within the bottom of the castle, far below the sparkling desert, to a place which he had never been too nor knew existed.
" Where are we? " Kalivare asked Aurora who offered no response other than " Continue forward, my love". And so he did, reaching a chamber that seemed something akin to a library of sorts.
He walked his way through, noticing the thousands of century old books resting on tall shelves who touched the ceiling. This was a library of knowledge that was both known and Unknown by most.
And whilst it was miraculous to behold, Kalivare found himself questioning why he was brought here. Could it be that they would need to use a book to find a way to release his beloved?
" The top shelf, third book from the left, White Leather Cover" Aurora finally spoke, to which Kalivare nodded and proceeded to climb up one of the shelves he was standing in front of, finding a white leather covered book. It was thick and had gold aligning the edges of the pages. It was beautiful and yet also felt powerful in his hands. He had never seen something quite like it before.
" I'm going to guess that this will help us find out how to bring you back? " Kalivare questioned.
" No. Open the book and go to page 1,502" She demanded as he opened the book, seeing that it had no title or name to identify it whatsoever. He flipped through the pages until he found the page she had requested he go too.
" Read " Aurora demanded. Kalivare was a little off put by her tone but agreed and began reading.
" A collection of three, which was once four, would be tainted by the absence thereof. A unity, in mind body and spirit, to bring thee absolute prosperity, must rest upon two" he recognized this as the story he had heard from Aurora right before she had been born but continued reading.
" For that which, of the land, and the world is alive, without such, lives would be lost and chaos would ensue..The lives of many rest upon the shoulders of two. And until their reunion, the world shall not prosper and shall not partake in the pleasures of peace" he stopped reading, realizing what the story was referring too.
" Listen..I already know about Gabriel and Kara. But Gabriel is dead and there is no proper way to change that. I mean going by this, with his death, the world will crumble and there will be nothing we can do to stop it. We can try but I'm not sure we will succeed, my love " He answered to which Aurora replied. " It says two, it doesn't say Gabriel and Kara. Technically, it doesn't have to be the children. It has to be us. Just you and me. We could unite the Kingdoms. With the Lycans gone..we could unite the Vampires and Witches together..we could bring peace " Aurora stated which made Kalivare feel slightly confused. " The Lycans are gone. But so are your people. And the vampires left. Sure, I could go after Sachofri but I don't think that will really solve the problem here..." Kalivare wanted to believe it was possible to take on the responsibility of the unification. But something in his gut told him that it would not be the answer they seeked.
" We have to try. We have to try and make this right. We can do this. We can fix it all. Kara can choose whoever she wants. It will all depend on us " Aurora explains, though Kalivare was still hesitant.
" I don't know..." he explained.
" Trust me, my love. We are going to be able to do this. You just have to bring me back" Aurora pleaded.
" How am I suppose to do that? " he asked, holding the orb up to him.
" I need you to use a spell" She answered, knowing full well that Kalivare had never been good at magic.
" Don't worry, it is not a normal kind of spell. All we need is your blood, if you use it, it should be able to bring me back "
Kalivare walks out of the room with Aurora, down the long dark hallway to another room where he finds a giant black room, with an empty bowl on a pole of sorts. He walks over to the bowl and looks down in it. It looks empty from what he can see. " So what do I do? " he asks as Aurora points out a table to the side of the pedestal, where a curved golden dagger sat.
He picks up the blade and, after breathing in deeply, carves a gash across his hand, which flows a sea of red into the bowl. Once the bowl had been filled enough to where Aurora felt was sufficient, he pulled his hand away and dropped the orb into the bowl of blood which Aurora had instructed him to do.
Afterwards, Aurora instructed him to say a chant of some sort over over which Kalivare found to be extremely uncomfortable to even pronounce but did so regardless. It was not in English and was not any language he had ever heard of.
It was after the chant that Kalivare began to feel light headed, stumbling around the room until he collapsed on the floor. He layed there, unconscious for around an hour before finally waking up and standing back to his feet.
He looked down at the bowl and reached his hand inside the thick, red plasma and pulled out the tiny orb which was now empty.
" Aurora?" He asked, as his eyes began to glow an extremely dark purple, and a large smile began cracking on his face. " Yes, my love? " he spoke, his voice completely changed to sounding something far deeper and more evil. He could feel himself losing control of his consciousness and was being pushed further and further back into his mind. Aurora was in control now, completely and fully, and she had plans. Plans that she would refuse to be intervened by her Husband, whom she knew was too soft in nature for her level of vengeance.
