Kinley
Seth pulled the car up in front of Kinley's apartment. She had never been happier to see her old worn-down building. She had missed it and the comfort it brought, especially with Seth staying there too.
He walked around to her side of the car and opened the door for her. Once again, he pulled her into his arms and carried her. He treated her as if she were a frail being, and in some ways, she felt like she was. The entire day had taken most of her energy. She hadn't eaten since the abduction and with the pregnancy, she felt she was always starving.
Everything that happened drained her. The fear of being killed and never seeing Seth again or meeting their baby was more than her body and mind could handle. She needed food, rest, and Seth's arms around her for the rest of her life, but mostly just for the night to recoup.
He had effortlessly carried her to her apartment and sat her down so he could unlock the door.
