They pulled up to the apartment just as the last box was being loaded into the U-Haul. Seth pulled the U-Haul door down in a loud bang. It symbolized the beginning of the end. With the shut of that door, new ones were about to open.


She climbed the stairs a final time to her now barren apartment. Somehow it looked smaller, different. Just as she had so many memories at the bookstore, there were even more here. This place contained every minute of her adult life from her new bookstore purchase, to her first dates with Sam, to finding love in Seth. All the moments in between, the good and bad, were held inside these now empty walls.
