Misunderstanding

"It's okay, I'm not angry. Pack up first. I'll wait for you in the living room." Owen quickly explained and hurried to the living room. His pace was faster than usual, and his breathing was more hurried than usual. Most importantly, his face seemed to be a little red.

It was only after he sat on the living room sofa and drank a glass of water that the lace-up panties Owen had just seen dissipated from his mind.

When he calmed down, it was only then that Owen realized that the two of them were really cohabiting. Although they didn't live in the same room and in the same bed, some of the inevitable awkwardness still appeared at all times.

Anita dawdled around the room. When she finally had nothing left to unpack, she slowly made her way to the living room. It wasn't that she didn't want to go out. She just felt awkward.
