THE DAY WE MET

That was the very first day of my graduation. I was promoted to higher studies.

I was supposed to find an administrative office where I should report my admission.

I've been admitted to Amity School of Technology, located in Gwalior.

My father should have come with me, but he was preoccupied with business matters.

The school was immense, and I noticed huge buildings around. I can see for many blocks from the front entrance. But I had problems finding the block I needed.

I should locate the building and report it as quickly as feasible. I decided to seek assistance.

Looking around, I noticed a youngster carrying an ID, who appeared to be studying.

So I sought his assistance.

"Excuse me!" I inquired.

"Yes?" he replied as he turned slightly toward me.

Could you assist me in locating this building? "I'm new here! I inquired.

"Yeah! Are you able to view that? "It is the last block," he added, pointing to that building.

"Oh, I see it. Thank you. I'm glad you just saved my time. I need to hurry," I said as I began walking faster.

That building is a long distance away, and time is ticking. I should not be late.

Finally, I got to the administrative office, but there was a big line.

I sat down and tried to breathe. I was apprehensive about my turn.

My ears quickly focused on a voice.

That moment changed my life in ways I never expected.

A female standing at a distance was fighting with an elderly guy.

That was such a beautiful voice with a babyish tone.

Someone called my name at random and told me it was my turn to report.

I have submitted all of my paperwork and have been accepted into that college.

After I finished my report, I began looking for that girl.

I looked everywhere for her, but I couldn't find her. Someone unexpectedly hit me.

Everything was scattered on the floor.

I was taken aback for a second; it was her. This is the girl I was looking for.

I captivated her in my eyes without blinking, and she seemed perplexed.

"Oh, I'm sorry; I didn't see you coming," I muttered quietly.

"It's okay, you're in a hurry."No worries," she answered with a smile.

That was the first time I saw her grin, and I remember it well.

I was stunned for a second, but I was actually thrilled inside. After that, we both departed.

They have organized a meeting in the seminar hall for the newcomers. I resolved to attend the meeting.

I approached the seminar hall as they addressed me.

All of the newbies are waiting in the hallway for the host. I grabbed a seat and am now waiting.

Several seniors took the initiative and asked to identify themselves.

A random individual was asked to deliver a speech. However, no one listened to him.

As soon as he began, a number of kids organized a team to make fun of him, and the audience yelled for him to finish fast.

I was bored and lied down on the bench.

Meanwhile, a girl appeared on stage and began to speak.

"Friends, good evening! "My name is Shristi Sharma," the girl began her speech.

I raised my head to look at the girl because I thought I'd heard her voice before. I pity her.

What a delightful surprise!! She's the same person.

I felt fortunate to know her name, which is Shristi Sharma. She was as lovely as her name suggests.

That was the nicest thing that could have happened on that day.

That evening felt like a dream; I was overjoyed. Everything seemed preposterous to me.

I am overjoyed to have come home.

She grabbed my interest very immediately.

She seemed quite interested and passionate about whatever she was doing.

How could I have missed that? I was looking forward to seeing her the next morning after having such a good time.

"Is there any event at college?" my father inquired.

He looked astonished when I expressed an interest in getting up so early.

"Yes, Dad!" "It is a very important event," I stated.

Yes, it is vital to me; how could I have been so late when a girl like her entered my life?

My father interrupted me as I was talking to myself.

"Should I come with you?" "Was that about parent-teacher interaction?" my father questioned.

"No, papa, it is an orientation program; I think I can handle it on my own," I said.

I was in a hurry to see her. I got there early and started waiting for her.

I was worried about missing her if I arrived late, so I arrived as early as possible.

Even the gardeners and laborers are late, but not me.

I waited for an hour, but she had not arrived yet. I have chosen to attend class.

All I could see was a new life with new people, so they were eager to make connections with new people. But I'm not very interested in making peers. Making friends is not my type.

I believe some people will show up in our lives eventually, and they will last a long time with good memories. I don't call them friends because they are like family.

Finally, I lost hope and assumed she would not arrive.

I've questioned myself about why I'm falling for this girl. As a male, I have the right to admire girl.

That isn't such a big deal.

No, I was just gazing at her; it's a natural reaction; beautiful things have properties that draw us.

All of these thoughts were rushing through my head as I tried to concentrate in class.

A crowd is gathered at the door of the classroom.

I expected her to come by, but she didn't. I was quite unhappy.

I left class for whatever reason. Suddenly, I noticed her approaching. She came to me.

Excuse me. Could you please drive me to the fresher's hall?Shristi asked.

I was simply astonished. I'm stunned for a few seconds.

I asked myself, "Did Miss Shristi Sharma just ask me to drive her to the fresher's hall?"

"Excuse me?" "Could you?" she asked again.

"Why not....sure follow me" .I told.

I was really joyful inside, but very silent outside.

Finally, we both entered the classroom and were seated.

She smiled at me, and I smiled back, knowing we were from the same class.

I've recently been thinking about her personality, specifically what type of person she was.

I discovered that many students came to college with great aspirations. But my purpose was rather straightforward. They were:

To learn about new things and explore as much as possible within the constraints I impose.

This Shristi appears to be the same as me; all she wants is to maintain a decent and respected status. She was quite hopeful.

In addition to these things, she was quite sweet when she came to me and asked for help when she wrecked anything. That version of her is really gorgeous.

Maybe that's why I fell for her.

With all of this in mind, I glanced at her and smiled. I'm not sure what's going on with me.

She was really interested in finding new acquaintances. Everyone wants to make friends.

I was an introvert and a pessimist who didn't want to make new friends.

I am hesitant to strike up a discussion with her. I just loved her attractiveness from a distance.

But I'm concerned that her friends may not share her views. I'm referring to the folks she talks with.

The classes for the day eventually came to a conclusion, and everyone, including myself, began to depart.

I began going after her, but I noticed she was chatting with a guy.

He seemed to have been close to her, but I despise it.
