Waking up with no one to greet him or ask how he was as he looked around to see most of them sleeping. And while he was in the middle of figuring out how he was in a cave and somehow was in a shirt he didn't remember wearing, a notification appeared. Something he had grown to not like too much himself as to him all it ever brought was bad news. But either way, this wasn't something he could ignore as it hung like glasses on his face.

"Race?.. Something has to be wrong with this thing. How can I be a demon. Wait...how am I still alive?" Erwin thought within his own mind. Quite frankly the last thing he could remember was being killed by the demon. So it made plenty sense that he was baffled as to how he had managed to still be alive.
What he had vividly remembered was how his vision had become clouded with absolute darkness and he was sure he had seen a miniature version of himself holding a white ball that was shining and another figure with a black shining ball. Then he watched as these two balls fused together to become one. And contrary to what he had thought would be the outcome where the white one would eventually overshadow the black, he was wrong as the new formed ball was black instead. Then again the darkness enveloped him until now he found himself where he was.
Now thinking about what he believed he had seen, it all wasn't making sense to him and definitely wasn't solving any of the puzzle on ground rather it was adding to the pieces that needed to be brought together.
He thought about the incident the more to see if he had mistaken something or maybe find a meaning to what he had seen. But after what he considered a thorough search of his memories, he concluded it was all a dream. He decided he would ask the rest of his teammates what had happened after he was beaten up. And also how they had managed to end up in what looked like a cave as he could see the entrance with the day's light penetrating through it.
With that matter settled in his mind, his mind had wondered off as his eyes locked on something else.
"Energy points?" Erwin looked in confusion as he had no idea what it meant. But seeing no answer had come to clear his confusion which wasn't quite surprising, he decided to look at something else.
"The system sure is mimicking video games" Erwin thought to himself as he stared at a couple of other things. But after some moments of reflecting back on what he had just said, he felt even more confused. If anything, the only he knew he was certain of was this wasn't the world he knew and was born in. And while it made little sense to say he was trapped in a video game, the events that had occurred over the amount of time he had spent in this world proved it could very well likely be it.
But then reflecting on how things felt real and some how some certain factors seem to concur with the norms of the world he was born in, it just didn't feel right to say it was still a video game. The details and events happening were just too much to fit into one game, he thought. Then a thought quickly occurred to him, one he thought he knew just the right person to ask. But seeing that he couldn't find that said person anywhere at the moment, he decided he would let the matter be for the moment.
" And these are my current stats?. Is there a way to increase it because even as I don't know how the measurement works, these numbers sure look pathetic!!" Erwin chuckled inwardly conscious not to wake anybody up. In his mind, they must have fought quite valiantly to still be alive and he felt the least he could give back in return was keeping mute and allowing them have their rest.
Staring at them all sleep, something then occurred to him. A detail that even he shouldn't have missed. But of course owning to the fact that the system had given him quite the shock and left him utterly confused, he paid very little mind to what was happening around him and more on finding answers.
"Wait, aren't we meant to be just eight, well if Yang's included then we should just be nine" Erwin thought for a minute as he did some internal calculations of his own. Now it was even more clear to him as he noticed something, a blue haired patterned boy laying next to a red hair patterned boy. People he had no idea of their origin, sleeping right next to some very familiar people.
"Who are those?" ...
Erwin turned to the direction of the voice he heard. Rubbing his hair with one hand and seemingly examining himself just like Erwin had done when he first woke up was Blair.
