After taking a bath together, Sophia dressed herself in her pajamas while Isaac showered and got ready for bed in the bathroom across the hall. He came out wearing clean clothes shortly afterwards, carrying the bottle of wine in hand as he headed towards the bedside table. When Sophia heard his footsteps coming towards the end of the hallway, she hurriedly pulled aside the curtains blocking off the balcony and peeked at Isaac as he passed by. He smiled softly at her gesture before sitting next to her on the sofa. Sophia giggled lightly as he held out the wine bottle towards her, prompting her to take it gratefully as she spoke shyly. 


"Thank you for this." She gave him a small smile and accepted the drink gingerly. "The bubbles were a nice touch." 


"Thanks," he responded politely. His gaze lingered on her lips momentarily before returning to her eyes.
