REVENGE

Tonight I got word that Cloud agreed to all my suggestions. He deployed all the palace maids to assist in completing the tasks in the blue file. Unmitigated, Cloud even asked Rain to lower tens of his soldiers to help.

I saw the soldiers and palace maids hand in hand, helping to clean the palace and starting from the roof, ceiling, walls, floors to other rooms. Everything was wiped clean, leaving no dirt behind.

Then the maids in charge of painting began to act. They worked together to paint the entire palace building. The rooms in the palace are painted so neatly. The ancient palace gradually began to reveal its luxury.

Several maidservants were busy arranging flowers in large clear pots. Which is the pot is filled with mosquito-eating fish. So even though the room is decorated with live flowers, there is no room for mosquitoes to breed.

The glass windows of the palace also sparkle when the sun hits them—installed metallic purple curtains with gold batik carvings on various sides of the window panes.

I didn't think that I finished everything in less than two days. I was so moved to see it. Cloud embodies all my suggestions and opinions. Everything that looks now is exactly what I proposed to him.

I noticed that in every room, there were candles that smelled of pink rose therapy. Like in my room. The smell makes me feel comfortable except for the residents of the kingdom who are allergic to the smell of roses. I didn't force him to use as I proposed.

After doing everything, I went back to my room. Immediately lay down on the bed and rest from the fatigue of my busy life in this kingdom.

Not long after, I heard Cloud's faint knocking on the door, but I ignored it. I try to make myself happy without it. And yes, I'm happy. I feel no need to be tired of waiting for someone unsure.

Gradually my eyes closed, sleeping soundly and sweet dreams with the stars.

The next day

I woke up early as usual. I still have work waiting for me. This time it's a red file that I have to work on. Cloud asked me to arrange the palace grounds as well as possible.

Since carrying out my duties, I have had many acquaintances in the palace. I started with the waiters, cooks, and royal makeup artists. It feels so good to have so many friends. I also treat myself as simple as possible so that the level between us is not so conspicuous.

After taking a shower, still using a towel, I opened my wardrobe. There was only one white dress left. I was so busy that I didn't have time to ask the palace maids where my other dresses were.

"Should I wear this white dress?"

I opened the wardrobe full, trying to find other clothes there. It turns out that there is a kind of batik kebaya that I met. But when I tried it on, the skirt was only knee-deep.

"My calves are not very beautiful to look at. Do I have to wear this kebaya?"

I asked myself while looking in the mirror. If you look around, this kebaya is cute too. The shirt is blue with a pink vest, while the skirt has a batik pattern.

"It's okay if I wear this kebaya."

I put it on right away. Coincidentally, the kebaya fits my body. I saw a pair of silver shoes that seemed to match this kebaya. I also wear shoes as high as seven centimetres.

I deliberately comb my hair sideways, and then I make a knot that locks it, so it doesn't get messy when exposed to the wind. Then I put a green emerald butterfly clip on the knot.

"I am ready!"

I immediately left the room by not forgetting to put on the perfume of my choice first. And minimal make-up on my face, matching the soft colour of the kebaya I'm wearing, all young.

I walked towards the palace gazebo, a lodge-like place to sit or relax. There, a dozen gardeners and Aunt Asri were waiting for me.

In the palace gardens

I explained my plan to the gardeners to change the arrangement of the garden, pond and even the palace fence. I explained to them how to get started. At the same time, Aunt Asri accompanied me on the side.

Today we are busy arranging flowers in the garden. I didn't even notice that someone was watching me.

It turns out that this kebaya is useful for me.

I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but it looks like you have to wear this kebaya. It can help my task of gardening well. It's different if I wear a dress. Of course, it won't be very pleasant.

The smell of rose bushes made me drift away from work today until finally, the hot sun forced me to take shelter for a while in the pavilion.

I sat in front of a table already available with various cake dishes. I tasted the cakes one by one. And as it turned out, it tasted really good. Until I forgot how many cakes I ate. Understandably, now no one sends breakfast for me anymore. So I didn't have breakfast.

"You'll get fat if you eat too much!" someone snapped.

Suddenly I was surprised to hear that. I almost choked.

"Hey, it's okay. Don't be so nervous about my coming."

Those words made me sick. Who is also nervous about his arrival. I was surprised that someone was suddenly talking to me, but I didn't see his form.

I turned around to see whose voice it was.

"Rain?!"

"Prince Rain. Did you forget that I am a prince here?" he said proudly.

Honestly, I don't care if he's a prince or a servant because Cloud brought me here. If it wasn't for carrying Cloud's good name, surely this man named Rain would have been chaotic and out of shape.

"Sorry. Forgive me."

Not wanting this conversation to belong, I immediately apologized to him—an annoying character for me.

"Miss, it seems you can't stand the heat of the sun, huh?" he asked, walking around me.

"You mean? Are you mocking me?" I was starting to get annoyed with what he said.

Should I be humiliated for the umpteenth time by him? Why is he always present at every opportunity? Doesn't he have any other job besides following me? I wondered to myself.

"You feel insulted, don't you?" he asked in a disdainful tone.

Arrgh…

It seems that this time I can't contain my emotions. His words pissed me off. I immediately got out of the pavilion and left it.

"Hey, wait!"

Rain chased me. He pulled my left hand. "You are very rude to leave someone who is talking. Moreover, he is a prince in this kingdom."

Rain still doesn't realize why I'm acting like this, leaving him. I couldn't contain the anger in my heart anymore.

"I don't care," I said, bringing my face closer to his.

The passing breeze witnessed our quarrel in the palace garden. Rain was silent for a moment, and he watched every movement of my lips. I don't know what was going through his mind when I tried to fight back, but I still didn't care. Even if later punished, I will explain why this is.

"Miss, you don't know who I am, do you?"

Again he said that. My head hurts to hear that. I also took the leaves near me without him knowing it.

"Who are you anyway?" I asked, starting to follow the game.

"I am …"

I moved quickly, put the leaves I was holding in his mouth, and then stepped on his left foot with my right.

"Mmmmm?!"

Rain couldn't speak. His mouth was gagged. Roman's face looked very surprised because he didn't prepare for what I did. After that, he lifted his stepped foot.

"Feel it! This is payback for an arrogant person like you!"

I quickly turned around and walked quickly away from him. I saw Aunt Rum approaching Rain in a hurry. She immediately helped Rain get the leaves out of his mouth. I don't know what they were talking about. I just kept going and didn't care.
