"Then what's your name? Do you still not want to introduce yourself to me?"
"Sorry, Rain."
I feel guilty hearing that. All this time, Rain thought that I had been indifferent to him. Even though I feel that his attitude is very annoying, he did all this to get special treatment from me.
"Here, let me put the necklace on."
Rain then turned. He is now behind me. Wearing an oval ruby red necklace, the chain of which is pure gold.
"Wear this necklace while in the palace. I don't want my brother to be the only one to give you that gift of butterfly clips."
I gasped. There seems to be an aura of competition here.
So this flops from Cloud? No wonder Aunt Rum looked so careful to put it on me.
"You must be hungry. Let us eat."
Rain pulled out a chair for me. He then lit a red candle with a wooden match. He opened the dish. I saw that covered a large enough fish with delicious spices.
Rain has prepared all this for me.
I also accepted his invitation. We then had dinner together. I didn't expect Rain to be warm to me after what I've been through so far. I started to feel comfortable with him. We also tried to exchange ideas. The stars in the sky bear witness to our intimacy tonight.
Thank you, Rain.

After dinner, he led me up the stairs to an even higher patch. There was a swing that was enough for the two of us. We sat together with Rain on my right. He invited me to take a closer look at the moon.
"The moon looks bigger tonight," I said, opening the conversation.
"Hmm, yes. The moon is perfect tonight," Rain said, then turned to me.
Rain looked at me deeply. He kept looking at me. I feel like a special woman tonight.
"So, your name?" he asked again.
I forgot that I hadn't introduced myself to him. I woke up and immediately turned my gaze to him.
"My name is Ara. You can call me that," I replied with a smile.
Rain smiled. We continue to enjoy the perfect moon tonight. However, Rain's left hand suddenly grabbed mine.
Rain?!
I was surprised, and I didn't know the meaning of holding his hand. I saw him looking away from me. Only his hand gripped mine tightly. It was as if he wanted to talk about something but caught it in his throat.
"Hoam…"
My drowsiness started to come. Rain immediately noticed. He turned his gaze back to me.
"Are you sleepy, Ara?" he asked.
I nodded. He immediately let go of my hand. I thought this would end. But apparently, Rain embraced me. He rested my head on his left shoulder.
"Go to sleep, Ara. I'll take care of you," he said softly.
I got a strange vibe as he treated me unusually tonight. I could hear his heartbeat along with his warm breath. I feel loved by him.
I enjoy the way he treats me. The night breeze that blows adds to my sleepiness. And before the sleepiness closed my eyes, I felt Rain gently stroke my head with his left hand while his right hand gripped my right hand. So romantic tonight. I can't believe this could happen to us.
"Ara?"
"Hmm?"
"Forgive my attitude yesterday."
I didn't expect him to apologize for his very annoying attitude finally. However, I didn't answer. Again I just nodded. I don't know why I'm getting sleepy, and my eyes are so heavy.
I lost consciousness for a moment; I didn't know what had happened before. I can no longer hold this drowsiness. I was tired of hitting myself.
Before actually falling asleep, I saw through heavy eyelids, and Rain carried me into the room.
"Good night, Ara."
He then laid me down on the bed and covered me with a soft blanket. And before my eyes closed, I saw Rain close the door from the outside. I didn't know where he was, and I didn't care either. My drowsiness was so heavy it made me fall asleep just like that.
The next day…
I woke up from my sleep. It turns out I didn't sleep in my room but Rain's room. I was still wearing a red dress without revealing anything.
It seems all is well.
I then left the room and looked for Rain, but I couldn't find him. I then headed to the palace garden to look for him. Don't forget to roll my hair first and lock it with a headdress so that my hair doesn't come off.
As it turned out, Rain was busy watching the gardeners do the work I had directed them to do in the palace gardens. He was also not reluctant to lower his personnel to help cut down the tall trees that covered this royal palace building.
I can only see it from afar. My heart was touched by his attitude this time. I made myself smile.
The work that was carried out hand in hand did not take long. It wasn't until the afternoon that I did the work. And now the palace looks so luxurious because no tall trees are covering it anymore.
Almost perfect in my eyes. I'm so proud of Rain. He wanted to intervene immediately to help me. At the same time, I was left fast asleep by him.
I then left because I had to meet Cloud today to ask for an assignment on a white file. I haven't had time to read it to the end. The file is still neatly tucked away under my bed.
I then walked to my room. For some reason, the palace dwellers bowed their heads when they saw me pass them. But I just returned their attitude with a smile. My facial muscles were almost stiff from smiling too much.
Afternoon to evening
Now wearing a blue dress, I entered Cloud's room. But unfortunately, Cloud was not there. A butler came and told me that Cloud was taking guests home.
I was curious about how Cloud treated his guests. I asked to be delivered to him. However, the maid politely refused. I felt the anxious vibe when I found out that Cloud's guest was a woman. And for fear of breaking the rules, I just asked to be informed of the location where Cloud is currently located.
"Harbor?"
I was pensive for a moment after hearing the answer from this male servant. There's no way I'd take Rain to meet Cloud. I guess I'll have to wait here for him.
"Ara, you're here apparently."
Long live Rain. I thought about it, and he's already here like god-level telepathy connected between us.
"Miss, I'm sorry."
The male servant said goodbye to me after seeing Rain's arrival. He also saluted Rain before walking away.
"Rain, do you know Cloud's schedule for today?" I asked, probing.
"Hm, why are you asking me?"
"I have work to do with him," I replied as I walked.
The maids who happened to pass by saw us looked so polite that I had to smile while talking to Rain.
"Cloud is trying to negotiate with the overseas rulers. We plan to unify our territory," Rain replied firmly.
"Hmm, is that so, huh?"
"You want to see him?"
Rain seemed to accompany me to meet Cloud while I was still thinking.
